The Brute at RUSEthe.magazine

Despite the minimal activity last week, it was actually a busy time of writing for me. I re-wrote my Sotomayor/Reverse Racism story and produced a piece on the Von Brunn saga for my newest employer, RUSEthe.magazine.

For those unfamiliar with RUSE, the site offers commentary on national and world events in the style of Slate or Salon, except with an attitude similar to your local alternative news rag. Anyway, you can check me out here and here on RUSE and, naturally, are welcome to spend all day there.

Congratulations, Adam! I don't think I ever personally congratulated you on this achievement, but I wanted to leave a comment for you because I am sure it makes you feel good that someone is reading what you have to write. I am sure there are many more people that read you, too. They don't comment because they fear you.

Anyway, how did you get hired by the magazine? Did you show them your bachelor degree from UTSA, and they were immediately smitten? Yeah, I didn't think so.
